iXmatch And HighJump Software Sign OEM Agreement
iXmatch’s matching and optimization technology to be integrated into HighJump Software’s Transportation Advantage
Bloomington, Minn. - Tuesday, April 23, 2002 - iXmatch Inc., the leading provider of matching software, and HighJump Software, the premier provider of the industry’s most adaptable supply chain execution (SCE) solutions, today announced an OEM partnership agreement to integrate iXmatch’s matching and optimization technology into HighJump Software’s Transportation AdvantageTM solution offering. HighJump offers Transportation Advantage as a component of its comprehensive suite of SCE products. Under the terms of the agreement, HighJump Software will embed iXmatch technology into its software and actively resell and deploy the combined solution, enabling its customers to more effectively and efficiently manage their transportation needs.
Together, iXmatch and HighJump Software will leverage Microsoft .NET technologies to deliver a solution that will optimize transportation plans and minimize shipping costs. “This agreement takes solving the significant problem of transportation management optimization to a new level,” said Prakash Puram, iXmatch’s president and chief executive officer. “Our companies complement each other nicely.”

HighJump will use XML and SOAP to send trailer types and orders to be shipped to the iXmatch optimization engine, which will return optimized loads to be shipped. “Our software makes the process of determining exactly what goes where extremely efficient,” stated Dan Bork, iXmatch’s chief technology officer. “HighJump plans to offer the optimization module as a Web service, which is a perfect application of our joint solution.”
