MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 20 - Minneapolis-based iXmatch, an Internet startup that matches available information technology (IT) projects with qualified independent IT consultants - via its Web site www.ixmatch.com - has added two new resources to its management team. Bret Busse joins iXmatch as the senior marketing manager, and Lee Javorski will assist the company with the financial and legal issues as the acting chief financial officer and general counsel.
“We are growing significantly as a company - the number of IT consultants and corporations we work with increases daily and we are adding talented, highly-skilled people to the iXmatch team to help shape our organization,” said Prakash Puram, president and chief executive officer, iXmatch. “It is extremely gratifying to see our business model not only endorsed by the marketplace, but also by seasoned professionals who believe in the potential of our startup company.”
At iXmatch, Busse will direct the marketing efforts and communication strategy. He joins iXmatch with more than five years of experience in e-commerce and Internet applications and eight years of experience in the interactive software industry. Prior to iXmatch, Busse served as the director of marketing and product development at MicroVoice Applications. “Bret brings a wealth of experience to iXmatch,” said Puram. “As we begin to expand our position in the marketplace, his expertise will help take us to the next level.”
Javorski will serve as acting chief financial officer and general counsel. Previously, he served as the vice president of taxes for Corporate Bancservices, Inc. and its affiliated companies. He also worked at Arthur Young & Company in auditing and tax. Javorski is a certified public accountant and a member of the Minnesota State Bar. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas and his juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minn.
“We feel very fortunate that Lee has decided to help us as we continue to grow our company,” Puram said.
